Course description

The bachelor’s degree in the teaching subject “Pedagogy” is an undergraduate course that provides students with the fundamental academic knowledge and skills they need to professionally plan, carry out and evaluate a socially reflective lesson with appropriate specialist content based on participation. The course content for the teaching subject “Pedagogy” includes an obligatory core curriculum that is based around the discipline of education science. Students acquire the knowledge and qualifications needed to pursue different pedagogic and neighbouring occupations or to engage in education science or pedagogic research.

Praxisphasen im Lehramt

Das Lehramtsstudium hat einen umfangreichen Praxisanteil, der Sie bereits früh mit der praktischen Arbeit als Lehrer:in vertraut macht und Sie darin unterstützt, Ihre Berufswahlentscheidung zu prüfen.
Studierende aller Lehramtsstudiengänge absolvieren die Praxisphasen während des Studiums. Das sind im Bachelor ein Eignungs- und Orientierungspraktikum sowie ein Berufsfeldpraktikum und im Master of Education das Praxissemester.
Nur für Studierende im Lehramt an Berufskollegs ist zusätzlich eine Fachpraktische Tätigkeit vorgeschrieben. Informationen finden Sie beim Landesprüfungsamt NRW.
