Course description

The degree course “Interpreting: German Sign Language – Spoken German” is based on the specialist disciplines of translations studies, linguistics and deaf studies. The degree provides students with knowledge and qualifications that serve as an important basis for taking up a profession as an interpreter. Graduates acquire the personal, social, professional and interdisciplinary skills that enable them to work in the field of interpreting between spoken German and German sign language.
